Agree on paying to play, but too bad it's not paying less than what they're charging. I'll be buying a F-Sport exhaust one day myself.
The HKS I have on my G35 was $500 and that's one muffler. So $1k is okay by me. It has gotten louder over the years to the point where I'm going to switch it back to stock before giving the car to my dad. I don't think he wants to be revving down the street.

I just watched for used performance exhausts to list on ebay and bought one that was installed previously for a month. I believe I paid $700- $800 shipped. Lexus installed it for $100.
