F-Sport Exhaust overpriced? Infiniti Q50 exhaust is 1/2 the price!

F-Sport Exhaust overpriced? Infiniti Q50 exhaust is 1/2 the price!
Why is it that the IS F-Sport Exhaust retails for $1600 when Infiniti can introduce a Q50 exhaust for only $681? This makes a huge difference in the sound and must give you at least 50hp 
. I haven't verified this pricing is accurate but if so, what a huge difference. I know you can get the F exhaust for about $1150 but that's still a huge difference.

The F Sport exhaust is just overpriced for 2 mufflers.
You can get a full exhaust system from Joe Z or Tanabe for just 2 Made in Japan mufflers for half the price.

Overpriced because "Genuine OEM Lexus" part... There's no other explanation for the high mark up.
Though, I have no regrets getting it. OEM sounding with a little growl!

Can anyone please tell me the part number of the F-sport performance exhaust? I have a 250 F-sport and I'm afraid of ordering the exhaust that I already have instead of the performance ones. does the tips look exactly the same?

All the above is correct, If it makes the OP feel any better I bought that option on my 2007 IS350 for $1,500 which probably bought more in 07 than $1,600 will now. My 2007 engine & exhaust sound better than any other car less than $100,000! The muffler packing has degraded over the years making the sound louder.
