Default Steering wheel vibration when stopped on Drive

Haven't noticed it before, but now I pay attention to my steering wheel - when the car is stopped on Drive mode I can feel a slight vibration on the steering. Shifting to P mode eliminates is. Is it ok? Do Your steering wheels vibrate when You stop at the traffic lights?

No vibes here
Sounds like an engine or tranny mount

hmm i have a similar problem. When Im stopped at a light, and let of the gas slightly., the engine/steering seems to vibrate and shake a little bit.. feels like when youre driving manual and you dont quite catch the clutch properly.

I noticed it yesterday as well. It only happened once at a stop. I have approximately 5000 miles. on my 2014. I believe I was on Sharp + mode.

I'm having this vibration and it also started showing as a cyclic vibration when i'm cursing at high speed ~140 km/hr after checking it appeared to be the engine and transmission mountings are worn and need to be replaced.

Weird. I know for a fact that with the 2is my awd had a strong vibration when stopped and in drive... everyone always said it was because it was AWD.

My 2016 AWD does have a very small amount of vibration when stopped and in Drive, but nothing like the 2is.

When the oil/transmission temp is low, my IS350 AWD will idle at close to 1000 RPM in drive. This causes some vibration in the steering wheel. From what I understand, this is normal for the AWD version. When the engine warms up, the idle returns to a normal 600-700 RPM idle and the vibration goes away. I've only had this issue in the winter. In the summer, it's totally fine.

Can you be more specific? i.e., what do you mean by "and a squeal"?

How about a video?

If you're turning the wheel while the vehicle is stationary you can expect some shudder...basically you're scrubbing the tire against the ground.
Not sure about the squeal part though.
