Default potential issue? car turning over a little more than usual before starting

So this has happened only about three to four times. within the last two months or so. have had the car over a year and this hadn't happened prior. Now you know when you start the car it turns over twice then starts, (forgive me if turning over isn't the correct term to describe it, I really don't know what its called lol) anyway yesterday and prior to that a few weeks ago I started the car after it was sitting for about 6 hours and it turned over about 4-5 times and then started. almost like it choked. not really sure what to make of it, but planning on taking it in when I get the chance. can anyone elaborate if this is normal or not?

possibly starter? or battery maybe? but 95% of the time the car starts fine.

I will note that I have a after market remote starter that ive had since January but the issue only surfaced in april. so not sure what to make of it. any input would be appreciated thanks

Do you mean it takes longer to start the vehicle? As in several attempts?
I would venture to guess that it may be a weak battery.

one attempt on my end. put my foot on the brake push the button but yes, these few select times, the car would take longer to start than it normally would

This happened with my last car. It took a couple of slow starts for me to really notice that it was happening. But, when I finally realized it I went to AutoZone and they checked my battery. Needless to say, I left with a new battery.

I would have it checked just in case.
