2014 IS License Bracket From GrimmSpeed

If you have to run a license plate (as we do in CA - in SF, they give $150 tickets when you park and they don't see a license plate!), this is the way to do it. I have the Grimmspeed one, and I can attest to the quality...its really solid, and has a nice quality feel to it.
The cheaper $48 one on Amazon...I don't know about the quality, nor how much those concaved mounting holes will allow you to angle it. It also looks like the plate is much shorter width-wise (more square shape) than the Grimmspeed ...so your plate could bend on the edges and you may not be able to mount it as far over to the side as with the Grimmspeed one. But since I don't have the cheaper one, I can't confirm it.
Here's a shot of the top...I have one spacer (thick silver disc) behind the arc to clear the bumper. I haven't put the lock washer on that I bought ($0.21), but it seems pretty solid so far. The arc shaped bracket allows you to slide it to a wide range of angles. Plus there are a ton of mounting locations on the license plate holder. An infinite number of mounting positions/angles is possible because of this. [I drilled out my tow hook cover...edges of paint need some sanding down, but the hole is a perfect circle. ]
The only thing I worry about is some thief deciding he wants one...
