For U.S., you can go to Carsdirect and play around with configurations for your 2014 Lexus Is and see associated MSRP pricing. It appears that MSRP pricing is what will be offered out of the gate.

options are invoice price. Tempted to get a is350 with no options at that price. What do you think of the 17" wheels? Upgrade to the 18's?
fwd??

I can't speak for the US, but I got quite a bit off MSRP in the UK.

Although I don't think I could have gotten much if anything off the car price, I was able to save big on the *options*. Might that apply Stateside?

Also, there were several rental offers here offering £1000 ($1550) off on certain configurations if you order *before* they appear in the showrooms - might that apply?

Obviously far fewer Lexuses are sold here per capita (around a third as many), so maybe they're keener here to get them off the forecourt quickly, I don't know.

The US website describes the ML system as "Mark Levinson® 15-speaker 835-watt Premium Surround Sound Audio System[*] with 7.1-channel architecture and DVD/CD player"

I thought that bad boy was rated at 1000+ watt somewhere in the previews?

ETA: well, just looked at one of the reviews and it quoted 835 watt... not sure where I got that 1000+ in my head.
