Default Navigation display .... Help needed

So i have my original 06 is350 top half of the navigation stack stop working....everything above the clock with the exception of the security blinker does not work.... i replaced the 4 or so fuses that deal with the radio on the passenger side inside and under hood .

Are there any fuses on the drivers sides?

Well today i went and bought off of a guy on craigslist the whole working 2008 radio stack ... installed it ...with the same problem.... all dead with the same problem..... so what am i missing... the CD player ejects and hums.... are there any other boxed or modules that deal with the radio/nav display?? I even replaced the trunk amplifier.

How do you know the unit you bought is in working order? The reason I ask cause the problem you have is not fuse relating. In other hand, did you check tv1,2 and ignition fuse?

This is all you need to know probably not a fuse. You wish it was a FUSE.

ya...well i finally have a resolution with my nav screen and radio... and to this day i have no clue what caused it... 2 fuses to the nav radio screen one drivers side and one passenger , one fuse to the car that placed it in limp mode, the whole radio amp box in the trunk and the power board (thank you whitebeast!!!) to the nav screen were all fried. got it all working now.......

So to be exact if you have the top half of your Nav unit dead and non responsive (that is the hazard/clock and security still work) you need to replace the power board part # 462651-0012 ..google it...should cost about $300 for just the part. if you are a do-it-yourself kind of individual its easy.... should take about 1Hour . lots of youtube videos on how to take out and apart the nav ....good luck !!
