Default Passenger lumbar support not working....

I did a search and nothing came up. Can anyone tell me if this is a simple fix? I really want to avoid the stealership. The passenger side lumbar adjustment does not work. Everything else works though. Front to back and up and down work fine. I don't hear any motor or sound when trying to adjust the lumbar.

Unless its a fuse, no, it's not a simple fix. The plastic gears in the motor drive mechanism have likely disintegrated. You have to remove the seat cover and padding to get at it, remove the lumbar assembly, remove the motor drive from the assembly and ask the manufacturer (Schukra, not Lexus) very nicely for replacement gear cogs. Here is the information you need if it is, indeed the plastic gears:

Schukra - Leggett & Platt Automotive Group- North America
360 Silvercreek Industrial Dr., Lakeshore, ON N8N 4Y3
519-727-7000 ext. 1811 : 519-796-7442
Scott.Reaume@schukra.com

They should send the parts for free. Otherwise, you can get the whole lumbar assembly from Lexus for about $1000.
