Default How to - clear bluetooth history - bluetooth audio not working

Hello,

I have an IS250 2012 and has a stuck audio bluetooth connection. I've deleted my iphone (ios 10.2 now) and reconnected it just fine, and I can make calls just fine. When I switch over to BT audio the error says unable to connect or to connect a bluetooth phone/device. If I hit the "connect" button on the BT Audio, it tries to connect to my old iphone. I've recently upgraded to a new Iphone 6s and even changed the phone name to "Iphone Mike" (the car is looking for Mike's Iphone) and noticed the BT audio is still trying to connect to the old phone, even though the new phone is connected for phone use. I tried connecting my Ipad which connects fine under the Phone connection, but switch over to BT Audio and it's asking to connect Mike's Iphone.

I've reset my iphone, reimage and deleted all info and even tried my wife's phone, same issue, wants to connect to the old Mike's Iphone.

So, how can I remove that old stale connection under BT Audio without unplugging the battery to reset the radio?

I think once I remove that old connection or link that I will be able to play audio via bluetooth.

Thanks,

Murf

You need to reconnect on both mode (phone and audio).

Both mode? Only way to connect phone is via the phone page, delete and add new.
The bluetooth audio age for the stereo has no option to manage connections.

Fixed, both audio and phone have separate connections for bluetooth devices. I did not know this.

I went into settings and deleted the old audio bluetooth connection and reconnected the new phone. Both connections work now.

I called Lexus dealer and advised me the proper way to add devices, through the setup button.

Thanks.
