Default Head spinning reading about rims

okay so the morning started with wifey and I buying a used 2008 Lexus IS250 AWD and the chrome stock rims that is on there makes her throw up. Anywise I found a guy selling ISF rims off his 2013. Now I did spend a few hours reading on topics I had no knowledge about, rims and tires. All these numbers and YouTube videos is making my head spin and more confused after spending few hours reading on Club Lexus and Videos. Can someone be straight and say look it'lol fit fine or be like NOPE will screw up car. THANK YOU!

specs: 19" wheels 8.5" +45 offset fronts and 9.5" +51 offset rears. Comes with oem sizes 225/40/19 fronts 255/35/19 rears

I think awd cars need to have the same width tires front and rear

Im pretty sure ur gonna ruin ur diff or trans running staggered on an awd. Smaller tires spin faster than bigger tires causing the diff to try to speed up the rear tires. I think everything needs to be the same all around

The tires are staggered but the tire heights (OD) are the same. They should work OK for the OP's AWD. On another note, those wheels are in high demand in the ISF community. Up to 2012, ISF wheels were 9" rear and 8" front. The 2012+ ISF wheels are extremely hard to come by, and ISF folks are paying a premium for them. If I were the OP I'd buy them and resell them here on the forum.

I've heard it both ways; some say staggered is fine and some they MUST be the same. It'll end being your choice; but I say as long as the overall tire diameter is the same, I'd run staggered.

The 2 tire sizes the op mentioned are almost the same circumference. The rear tire circumference is 2079.9 mm and the front tire is 2081.6 mm. This is a difference of 0.227%.

A link to calculate/compare tire sizes is http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos
