Default Best DRL/Hi-Beam Halogen Bulbs Options?

Hello. So I've been looking into replacing my DRL bulbs to something whitish in color. And yes I know, HID and/or LED's are best options but it's at the expense of losing High beams. I like the use of High beams at times, so my option really is to stick with halogens. So I wanted to know if anyone has had any luck finding a good set of halogen DRL/Hi-Beams that are close to white-ish in color??

i don't think you will have much luck, the DRL function is the high beam at 30% so the halogen will not shine at full brightness, resulting in the yellowish hue. I had tired previous with some Silverstar zXe that were suppose to look like 5000-6000K, didn't do anything because of the power supply.

At best get something with a blue glass tint to get as much of the yellow as out as possible

These are an easy swap i have them as my DRL's right now - no changing of wiring or anything just remove stock bulb and insert this one - as far as colour temp they are definitely not as advertised 7000k - more towards stock HID 4000-4300k depending on the time of day - bright sunlight I'd say they are only a tad whiter then stock - sunrise and sunset it will look crystal white - the bulbs have a blue coating on them that looks really cool in the housing when they're not on (small perk) - Also, when my lowbeams are on and drl's are off my parking light which is an LED bulb shines through the blue coating and gives off a blue tinge in the housing (another small perk)

I can't comment on the high beam light output as i have never used them haha my stock hid lows and hid fogs are plenty bright for me

I have the arctic whites

I know the DRL's help prevent accidents and are best to leave on. With that being said, since they are so yellowish and hard to make white in color due to the low voltage output, I asked the dealership to just turn them off, so they did. I think the car looks so much better during the day not having these yellowish DRLs on. Again, so I dont get bashed, it is best to keep them on from a better safety standpoint, but I prefer the look of them turned off .
