Car won't shift out of park. Help please!
I recently replaced a bad alternator in my 2007 IS350. While replacing it we blew the fusible link so the car would not start. I have now replaced the fusible link and the car is back to starting but will not shift out of park. The windows are not working. The air conditioner is not working and several lights on the dash are on while the car is started. Does this sound familiar to anybody? Any idea of what may be wrong? Thanks for your help!

You probably blew additional fuses and maybe modules in the car that control other functions.
Mechanically, if you remove the shift-lock cover from the upper left portion of the shift selector in the center console and press down on the piece in the hole, you should be able to shift to another gear other than PARK.
