Cosmetic maintenance questions
hello! Lexus enthusiasts and gurus .. 10 years ago i moved to the city, the 2nd gen IS series was the first car that made me go ooh and aah. last week i sat down in one for the first time as an owner
the car runs like a dream, i absolutely love it. but she's got some quirks yes indeed - i've never owned a car before so it's a whole new world to me. i want to make sure she's in tip top shape mechanically and cosmetically. i went out and took a few photos of these cosmetic problems i'd like to fix hopefully by myself.
small dent above the drivers side door. what's the best way i can pop it out safely?
the grill is slightly indented on the drivers side. i'm thinking from a very slight fender bender. it caused the exterior above the headlight to pop out slightly (as seen from the white marks on the headlight) i popped it back in. do you think replacing the grill would fix this? or should i pop the hood and tinker around further..
as seen from the other side for comparison..
as for the interior,(beige) there's blue ink on the seatbelt, and the seatbelt is dirty from use. the leather is also dirty and beginning to show wear, what should i be using to clean/mend? there are some tiny tiny paint dings around the car, i can't seem to find a paint pen for my color..
more pictures of my issues upon request, anyway here she is in all her glory (hooray!)

The rubber part by your headlight,It seems to me that the weather strip is just not aligned property. The bottom of the weather strip has these tiny clip things that you push in to place.
I think that's it but it could also be the angle of the pic.
Interior detailing (reputable place) can remove stains from leather.

Used it on my Ferrari, BMW, & Lexus.
There is nothing better.
If you want the proper technique to maximize the product's efficacy let me know!
The first time I did my convertible Ferrari it took three applications to get the years of dirt out. But once your leather is clean you'll only have to use it once a year.

Looking at your paint closely in the first picture, you could benefit greatly from a proper paint correction process. This will really bring out the depth, clarity, and gloss in your paint and make the car look stunning.
Over time, poor washing & drying as well as general wear and tear will leave your paint looking dull and faded due to tiny imperfections (known as swirl marks). These can be removed using proper tools, pads, and polishing compounds.
The end results is an extremely shiny vehicle with deep, clear reflections.
Again, hop on over to the detailing sub forum for more info... and feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
