I just completed a headlamp repair, ballast went kaput. Not really that bad after doing it the 2nd time (1st time was a fail, ask me why). Key is to heat it up and remove the clear cover so you are free to work on the ballast that need replacement. This ballast failure is attributed to condensation-water getting into the headlamp. The failure is the headlamp seal. Shame on Lexus for this compromised headlamps. I had the same condition on my RX. On the RX, I was able to seal the top before it wrecked havoc. Not lucky on the IS350.
