Default Should I purchase this High Mileage is250?

Hey guys I saw an IS250 for a good price with roughly 115k miles.

The car is physically in great shape but after a vehicle inspection at Lexus, the Lexus service rep found excess carbon buildup and said that it was a voluntary recall and that they would replace the engine piston rings due to the carbon buildup for free.

Is this a major problem? However, the car has excellent maintenance records.

Thanks

Pretty much every IS250 is going to have this problem. The new piston rings help but don't eliminate the issue. I's a bad design of the PCV system in a direct injection engine.

115k miles on a Lexus is no big deal at all.
