1UZ-FSE Swap Lexus 2006 IS350?
I'm looking to swap a 1uz-FSE engine and the AA80E tranny from a Lexus GS460 in my car. I have a few questions, maybe some of you can answer.
-First things first = has it been done or something similar to it?
-Are there any adapter plates, harnesses, etc?
-Is it even a good idea to begin with? Concerned it might be too complicated.
-Have to get different rear end also with it?
If anyone could steer me in the right direction that would be awesome!

The engine you are referring to is the 1UR-FSE, the 4.6 liter V8 from the GS460.
No one has done this swap, there are no aftermarket adapters, or harnesses for this swap. If you're experienced with swaps, it should be fun. Would definitely be worth it.
The rear end will be fine, its basically the same as the one in the ISF. Good Luck!

Mix and matching engine to chassis is not the greater challenge. Getting an ECU that both runs the engine and reports valid data to the cars remaining ECU's is the issue. Perhaps look at it from the angle taking an IS-F harness and ECU and adapting that to the 4.6.
You need to compare an IS-F to a 250/350 and see what all needs swapped. Go big or go home, simplify and install the 5.0. It will be a lot easier.
