Wheel spacer with my application
Hey Guys,
I'm new to the board and recently picked up a CPO 2009 IS250 AWD.
My question pertains to new wheels. I recently traded in my 2002 RSX Type-S that had new wheels that are 17x7 +40 Offset with 225/45ZR17 tires.
I installed one onto the Lexus and for obvious reasons it fit but was pushed in compared to the stock wheel. What size spacer would I need to make a look flush? (Stock Suspension)
I've seen threads with OEM wheels with 15mm and 20mm spacers but could not find any threads regarding 17x7. I'm assuming stock wheels are 17x8 +45 offset?
And using an offset calculator the following information comes up:
Inner Clearance: 18mm more
Outer Postion: Retract by 8mm.
Thanks for all the help.

The size of the wheel doesnt matter with trying to install spacers. The lug pattern is all the matters. Also, look for hubcentric spacers so that you wont have any vibration arising from the wheels spinning. Also, make sure the diameter of the hub is correct for the wheel, they do have different sizes. Just type in IS350 hubcentric wheel spacers into ebay or a search engine and you will get what your looking for. With that narrow of a rim and an offset of +40, you will probably be looking for a spacer over 20mm for a flush look. Hope this helps.

I do know some stuff, but I could be wrong:
Thread pitch is 12x1.5 and the hubcentric spacers should be 5x114.3 with a bore of 60.1?
And what size hubcenteric rings should I get? 73.1 -> 60.1
