Question about going back to stock tips after AP2
I have a question about going back to OEM tips after AP2.
I too really like the look of the AP2 tips so i bought a pair recently. But i don't have the GFX rear lip (yet ). I hear that w/o the GFX rear lip the AP2 tips stick out a bit and some people may not like it. I want to go ahead and try it anyways but i wanted to know how difficult would it be to go back to my stock tips if i don't like the way it looks.
The reason i ask is because i hear that the stock tips are spot welded on and you pretty much have to just twist and break them off, then you can bolt on the AP2s by just tightening the bolt until it's secure. But if you want to go back to stock, do you then have to get someone to weld them back

I don't think the stock tips are spot welded on. I don't remember seeing any signs of welding when taking mine off. Just gotta spray something on the area to help loosen it up and then twist and pull. Going back to OEM tips should be straight forward. Without the GFX rear though, the AP2 tips do look a little odd. Someone on here had cut them to look better, but I still think its meant for the GFX rear.
