I noticed that my oem 9005 drl bulbs are starting to turn black on the ends. They still work find but was wondering what could cause this. Is it time to replace the bulbs?

Why replace them if they still work fine? I don't know why they would turn black but is it on the inside or outside of the bulb?

I have this problem too. I guess running the high beam on low power does something to the filament, This is one reason why I am thinking of turning off the DRL. But I am am not worried since I usually dont' ever use the high beam.
