Aftermarket HID Fog Lights on driver side wont turn on
i recently installed an hid kit for the fog lights and the driver side is not turning on at all, i even switch the bulb to make sure it wasn't a faulty bulb but both hid bulbs work .
i installed the oem back and both are working, anybody know how to fix this problem?

To add what was said above, you also need to check which way the plug going to the ballast is turned. I have used kits in the past that had a connector on the ballast that would allow you to turn it either way.

could it be the bulb? maybe a defective bulb?
already check the bulb and they are working,

switch the ballasts see what happen, maybe one of the ballast is no good or not enough ground power.
ill check both this out, you said not enough ground power? how can i fix that?

have you tried this ? i had to do this on my HID fogs.
Reverse Polarity
If you install your HID kit and they do not turn on you may have reverse polarity. What this means is the power and ground wires are your vehicles stock harness are reversed. What you will have to do is plug the harness connector into the ballast backwards. You will be plugging in the connector from your car into the kit backwards. This will not harm the vehicle or the kit.
Note: Reverse Polarity is an issue with the cars wiring not the HID kit. Some cars come from the factory wired in an orientation that is reversed when compared to the HID kit. When using stock halogen bulbs, polarity has no effect, therefore, some manufactures will have the power and ground wires opposite of the HID kit. Some manufactures will have reverse polarity more then others. A lot of GM models have reverse polarity.
