Dead Bulb Or Ballast?
My D/S HID has been failing to fire up. I'll have to turn off the lights and then turn it back on repeatedly until it comes on. I'm noticing it does this more than often during the cold weather. I don't have any experience on HIDs, would this be a bulb issue or ballast? Or perhaps how could I tell which is bad?
Edit: Guess I could test it with the passenger side and see what happens...

I have a ballast that acts up, if u turn on the lights before u start the car, or leave in auto they com on just fine. They are aftermarket hid's and I just ordered a replacement ballast so I don't have any more issues. I would think if it was the bulb it would just go out.
