IS250c ECT snow works

I have IS250c Rear wheel drive and Today I needed extra traction to drive in snow, ECT snow selection helped a lot even going over a hill. Regular drive was slipping and going left and right. Of course you need better tires too. I think you can drive nicely in 6" snow without problem if you have IS250 with ECT SNOW option on.

Sorry for bringing an old post back, but is it okay to turn on etc power during acceleration when your already on the gas

Yes, it can be switched when stopped, on the gas, coasting, etc..

Helpful tips

Thanks guys... Didn't want to be that guy bringing up old topic but I did my research. Had concerns about downshifting in pwr mode thinking maybe tranny was going bad (bought used IS350) but this thread pretty much summed it up. Thanks guys
