? about HID lights, HELP!!
Hey everyone! so i just bought a 2009 IS250 and was looking into getting some HID lights, but have no idea what I need to do. Im confused because i dont know if i need a kit or just change the lights. If someone can please explain how to do this. thanks!

Depends on whether or not your car came equipped with HIDs to begin with. If not, then you need an HID kit. If your car has HID lights, then you can just swap out the bulb with another one more suitable to your liking.

AFS? sorry im new to all of this
and yes i checked and my lights are looking yellowish. ive seen a lot of people recomend the ones from xenondepot.com

With AFS your headlights will appear to turn while your driving as your wheel turns, and when you start the car the light will move down and then up again, aligning itself. If you've got this, you just need new bulbs, not the whole kit.
If you got the factory halogens, your lights will look like most average cars, a bit yellowish and your headlights wont move or anything when your turning or when you start the car. If you got this, you need the whole kit.
