I had the HS loaner a few times!! Does not feel well. Actually a co-worker said that this car looks more like a "spaceship" the way the interior is! Yes center joystick lol!!
I even got confused how to engage neutral on the car too before! ROFL!!
Evey other loaner, I started to request for the ES350 instead.

I got a HS loaner yesterday. Can't wait to get my 350 back either lol I missed it before I left. I personally like the car AND the joystick. Its something different. Hybrids are really cool to me. In a few years I will probably get a CT looks nice to me and is a hybrid. Ill be the judge of the sportyness though

I actually don't mind the joystick - I love the touchscreen nav in my IS, but I have to admit the joystick in some ways is 'easier' to use while the vehicle is in motion. Its nowhere near as confusing / difficult as the BMW iDrive thingie.
As for hybrids - I just bought an RX450h and was skeptical that I was going to like how it drove after my experiences with the HS. The RX hybrid drive is MUCH better than the HS one - I don't know if it's the loads extra power available on demand, or if the drivetrain is just more refined. I felt driving the HS that it was underpowered and never quite happy. The RXh has loads of power on demand with the torque from the electric motors + the 3.5L V6.

Picked up the IS this morning and it sure feels good to be home. Seems like the opinion is pretty universal, but I guess that's why we're all IS owners instead of a Prius or some such.
Interesting. I'll see if they have one next time I'm in for service.

I thought the HS250h loaner I had was 'neat' and 'interesting' but was happy to be back in my IS for sure.
I liked that all of the interior illumination was a single colour (white) and I also enjoyed the use of leather on the dash/centre console.
Glad to have my IS back though.

i had it aswell this past week and thought it looked cool from the inside but power wise it as crap. It made me drive more ECO and try to keep that little "eco" light green on. I was glad to get back into my 350 and hear my exhaust

About the only thing I like about bringing my car in for service is when I drive away in my IS350 after having driven the loaner. Makes me appreciate what I take for granted everyday - the power and responsiveness.
Feels like driving a very powerful go-kart (in a good way) after driving the usal RX loaner

You guys should consider yourselves lucky for driving a hybrid. When I got my recall done the dealership gave me the 2010 RX350 to drive and it consumes gas like crazy! My MPG while I had it was 18MPG.
