Repairs Few Days Past Warranty Date?
Hey guys. Couple questions here... My IS350 is due for the recall valve service and I also had some other issues with my car that I wanted to take care of. The car is like two days past the warranty date and I couldn't take it in because they had no room/space for my car.
1) The brakes squeal when I first start up the car. After driving for like two minutes, it goes away. I had the brakes previously replaced (free) for doing the same. Could this be covered under warranty (again)?
2) Do you think they would cover the brake service under warranty? It's literally two days after my warranty expired and I could not get a service appointment until Dec. 9th (this Thursday)... Hopefully, since my family has bought like four cars from their dealership, they'll make an exception or just be nice about it. What do you think they'll do?
3) My car is about to hit the 40K mile mark and what other services should I get done while my car is in? That may be absolutely necessary? Thanks guys!

I was 7 days past my four year aniversary date, mileage was way under. I wanted them to fix the sideview mirrors since they never fixed it properly, a known issue and I had gone to the dealership to tell them about it but the service advisor, who no longer worked there did not make any notations. The dealership offered me a discount of 20% and charge me $1,200. I immedialtely bought an extended warranty from Toyota. $1,700 had my mirrors fixed and did the spring recall. So now I am waiting for the gift card $500 and $1,500 discount for next Lexus purchase. It has been a few weeks but I have not seen anything yet.
