Default Plastidip designs on Car?

So after reading through the 30 pages of replies about the plastidip emblem thread. I was curious about trying it on other parts of my car.

Do you guys know if it damages your clearcoat if plastidip is sprayed over it and not removed for a couple weeks? I wanted to see what my car would look like with a black top, maybe the spoiler black and see what a design I have would look on my car. Yeah I know I can browse pictures and see if other car has what Im thinking, but its different when you actually see it.

Before someone slams me, ricer, etc, whatever, I wanted to see it as a temp look, so that I can tell the auto paint shop what I want.

It shouldnt hurt the paint at all. Once it dries its basically a vinyl overlay. Ive painted my mirrors and didn't take it off for months. Paint was still fresh and cleannn

100% confirmed, it will not affect your paint. The 'dip does not have enough adhesive properties to bond to your clearcoat. it stays on essentially the same way your iphone film screen covers stay on. When you spray it, it basically gets the air out so it just sticks on. You can completely peel it off.
