Default Dealer valve recall and TSIB's

I am about to take my 2006 IS350 to the dealer for the 1st time (bought 5 mths ago) for the 2 recalls- pedal and valve. I have been reviewing the TSIB's-

Am I missing any? (these are ones that I am experiencing)

EG017-06 Sulfur odor
NV006-07 Rear View mirror shake
NV003-06 Instrument panel rattle
AU001-07 Aux port noise
SS003-05 CD Skips
EG019-07 Engine knock/rattle at start up (could someone email me the audio file with the noise if they had a chance to record it? dixieman47@gmail.com)

Done or not needed (front brake pads, fuel line, seat belt,)

Question- I am almost due for an oil change, does any of the repairs above do an oil change?

Thanks for your help...

Are you sure your car is still under warranty? Almost of of the '06s are more than four years old now. The rear view mirror shake, instrument panel rattle, aux port noise and CD skip TSIBs are only covered if you are still under your 4 year/50k bumper-to-bumper warranty.

Thanks for the info. I have the 100K plat warranty extension- think it would be covered under that?

Unless you're actually experiencing those, the dealership won't fix the concerns.

Have them check your rear calipers to make sure you don't have a seized caliper.

Hey I'm in the same boat I'm taking mine in on Oct. 8. I thought the rattle startup was part of that valve recall. I have an 06 with about 36000 miles just bought 4 months ago.

I'm in the same boat as well. Are those ALL the tsib's? If not, is there a thread that has them all listed?

Check your first use dates guys. I brought my car in for the dash rattle and they denied warranty service work since my first use date was 11/2005 eventhough I had 48k on the odo. Some dealers might be willing to do it out of goodwill.

You forgot the seat squeak TSB...the dealer will perform this regardless of noise or not. It's when you make turns, and the lower left section of the seat (by the power buttons) creaks and squeaks. The remedy is they have to remove the seat and cut about a forth off a series of plastic pins that stabilize the seat. Search for the TSB number, as its well worth fixing!

I have the extended warranty as well, but upon careful reading of it I do not think TSIB's are covered specifically. It may be up to the dealer, but I think you'll get some pushback on some of those TSIB's. As other's have said, unless you are experiencing the problem they won't do the work. An actual recall; valves springs, fuel rail, pedals, etc will naturally be covered.

To be sure you need to verify with the dealer before they do the work.

Just go to http://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/home and register. It will tell you your recalls on the vehicle that you need to do and all your service history done at Lexus.

Don't confuse TSIBs with recalls and special service campaigns. TSIBs are simply repair information for dealers to use in fixing problems that customers may or may not be having with their cars.
