Like most cars these days, it's just a clear lens with a standard amber bulb. However, if you decide to use led turn signal bulbs with a clear lens, then you might have a problem.

Interesting, because I definitely saw two IS-F's, one Ultrasonic Blue and one white; both of their rear turn signals were a white LED. Coincidence that they swapped out OEM bulbs?

hey whats up guys. i been on the forums for quite little while, just not very active. I just wanted to say to all you guys trying to figure out if the 2011 tail lights need modification to fit or lighting issues ect to install on 06-08 and the answer is NO.

i just installed a set of 2011 led oem tail lamps on my 2008, let me just say it was plug and play no fitment issues, no drilling....

it took me about 35 mins to take out the old ones and install the new ones...

i can post a pic if you guys want to see it.

I prefer the 11-12 light..a whole lot better. I have a 2010 and I was very happy with the 2012 set...I had the chance to get ISFs but I prefer these.

That is not correct sir, don't know about 07 and 08 but 06 you will need cut/sand down the small areas inside the trunk lid.

For whatever reason, here in south florida... All the guys are getting the newer tail lights. Now it seems that I'm unique in that I did NOT get them. LOL
Regardless I do want them but I'll wait until less people have them.

I like them I just wish the pinkish part was clear. A bit pricey though, I'm not sure how much sewell or the stealership sells them for but I see members here posting theirs for $400 + your oem tail lights. I currently have the ebay ones. I'm happy with them for the most part but I would trade them for the new ones in a heart beat if the price was right

Yuuup. Listen to Jon. You either had a 2009-2012 trunk or was originally modified to fit it. I swapped my tails with Jon and he had a lot of trouble getting the tails to actually fit. Haha.

guys, i have a 2008 and i am telling you that i did not cut or modify anything... i dont know about the 2006 models but i know from experience... i am the 1st owner of the car.

before i installed them i noticed that the points on the 2008 tails & 2011 were the same and made sure i wasn't going to run into issues.

Sir you must have a newer trunk and don't know it, on 2006-2008 the trunk lid has a precut diagram for the taillights to seat. In the middle of this cut-out there are two tabs that protrude higher than the rest of the edges and MUST, I repeat, MUST be sanded/cut/bent etc.. for the newer tails to seat properly.
