My buddy Koz here and I installed a set of the new 4 LED flanks in my new ES.
You have to modify the LED and the inside housing.
The bulb needs to be Dremeled to make shorter and the inside housing needs to be Dremeled a bit so the LED can fit.The LED will leave a black mark from hitting the lens housing in the area where you have to Dremel a bit without going through the plastic housing. If you do go through,a simple dab of silicone will work. The lens housing is not exposed to the weather.
Not too big of a deal but still a pain versus the older version of the LEDs fit perfectly in my other Lexus'.
There might be other ways to modify but this way worked for me.Of course this is all assuming the IS and ES have the same housing which i would think they do.
The new LEDs do look good, though.
You can always go with the VLEDs 2 LED flanks which will fit but they're pretty weak on light output but white.

The so called 'new and improved' VLEDs 4 LED flank is too long now due to an added heat sink..
