5w-20. if you do a lot of "high speed" driving, then get 5w-30. if ur upstate, and it gets frigid in the winters, u could possibly use 0w20 for better start ups in those -20 mornings with 50 foots snow falls lol

hehe i'm about to switch up to RP 5w-20 also when I go for my 15k service.
Also to keep this relative to the OP's question, it's about which grade of oil to use for his application. He lives in NY and faces all different temperatures around the year. Cold snowy winters to Hot and sweltering summers.
I suggested 5w-20 for regular driving like if u lived in the city. perhaps 0w-20 if you live upstate like buffalo. you could use 5w30 or 0w-30 if you experience lots of load/high speed ie Racing or towing/trunk and car full of stuff

5w-20 is fine. the numbers on the oil ratings tells you how heavy the oil is going to be at startup/warmed up.
so 5w-20 is the weight of 5w when u start up so it's light enough to get moving around and lubricate well in cool/cold weather and 20w when the engine is all warmed up.
you don't have to change out the oil in your call for summer and winter unless you are driving that much and would like to do that. otherwise it wouldn't hurt to use either one all year long. if you go synthetic, you can go longer between Oil Change Intervals and it'd be a lot easier to just stick with one grade of oil.
also, heavier weight is usually for cars that either travel at really high speeds alot or cars/trucks that go through a lot of load (on the engine) like towing for example.
just my opinion.

Yeah it was weird, I got my oil change then I reset my ECU so it could re-learn the way I drive, and also so it can pick up my F-Sport Intake better. My rpms seemed different than the last time I did an oil change at the dealership & they were lower at cruising speeds ex 60mph I was at 1.7k on the rpms, and at 40mph it stayed at about 1.3k on both 5th & 6th gear. The car seems to idle nicer too :]
