I noticed the other night that the two license plate lights really shined down on the street. I am guessing they are LED lights. Does anyone know what kind of bulbs they use cause I would like to put them in my side mirrors. Are they the same size, can I just get two from Lexus?

Second, did anyone change their reverse lights and any pics?

The puddle lamps use 194/168 bulbs and here are a couple pix of my old car reverse LEDs.

are they much brighter? When i look behind myself it barley looks like the lights are on. also, how hard is it to change them?

Use the 9SMT vleds. Anymore than 9 is too wide to fit in the reverse unit. I use the 9SMT and they are really bright. No pictures though.

having LEDs in your reverse look really nice and bright.. but visibility from inside the car sucks *****.... if you look out of your backview mirror or sideview mirror.. you cant see anything.

Which bulbs are in Pocky's car??? The Front Dome and doors take 194 bulbs, while the rear dome (2) and trunk (1) are the fuse like bulbs..

Either way I would like to upgrade those just like that and install the same in my side view puddle lamps (which also take 194)



Thats what the back up camera is for......

I used the 194 high power LEDs. Had a set laying around so just used it. It's more for looks than functionality. You can still see the white light but not as bright as the incandescent bulb. If you were to change to LED, I would go with igofast suggestion on using SMT, it'll probably make it brighter.
