just came in from crawling around under the car. it has a K40 three band in front and a two band in the rear and a laser defuser also up front. he did tell me they sent it out to be installed. just downloaded the owners manual for it.

Is it possible to purchase a detector kit that we can install ourselves, with wires that lead to the front fendor and rear fendor for seperate detectors?
id like an detector in my IS but hate having things sitting on the dash. ive been trying to find a better option than just hardwiring to the top of the window glass near the rear view mirror.
I would love to have the controls and dispay integrated into the dash panels.
ive even gone so far as to think about using my empty center speaker grill to mount some sort of display and make a clean fiberglass enclosure.
