IS250 AWD and 18" rims
Anyone know if it possible to upgrade from stock 17x8 on 225/45's all around to 18x8 225/40's without losing any of the AWD performance? I plan on asking what the best all season tire for this setup as well?

Alexis,
18's are fine on the AWD, stock sizes are 225/45/17 and I went with 245/40/18 on my new wheels. AWD's usually stick with same offsets all round but staggered offsets are do-able as well. There are a lot of members here running staggered set ups on the AWD.

18x8 and tires are 245/40/18, they don't rub in the rear but rub in the front with the +38 offset. (Also have Tanabe springs)I don't think anyone has run 245 in the front without rubbing. Don't quote me on that tho. Stock offset is +45 all round FYI.
