Default question about the IS250 nav radio

Are our navigation radios XM ready? or do we have to add that little delphi device to the dashboard? I would have the dealership do the service. Thanks

Our radios are XM ready but they require the XM antenna which cost around 300 bucks at lexusparts.com

300 bucks for just an antenna? I don't think so.

How about approx. $300 for a receiver AND and an antenna. Don't forget the Club Lexus discount for lexusparts.com.

The receiver mounts in the trunk (PNP); an easy installation.

Sort of. The information appears, but it is truncated and doesn't scroll.

Oh man! That antenna looks horrible sticking on top of the trunk! It should work just fine in the back window or something right?

Lots of people put them on the rear parcel shelf. Some even hide them in the third brake light housing.
