Oh Jeez, not this again. Regardless of the validity of the TW ratings, all things being equal, it's a reference point from which to base a decision. On paper, 360 > 240 > 140, but YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY. Perhaps more important is unsprung weight, and this can be measured in absolute terms. From heaviest to lightest: Avons > Bridgestones > Dunlops > Michelins. I won't need tires for another 20 months, at which point I'm sure we'll have more options to debate upon . . .

i got about 17k and change on my 250 and its barely starting to show a bit of wear ...and its daily driven in inland empire freeways
