I see that the IS250 has headers available. Does anyone know if any aftermarket IS350 headers are comming out? If so,what do you think the hp numbers will be on this big V6. I have a friend who has an Acura 3.2 cl Type S. He put headers, exhuast, and intake on his and got a dyno proven 37 HP gain. I would think we might even be able to gain a little more. By the way I'm still faster then the Acura. He just ordered a comptech supercharger so I better enjoy while I can.

i believe those are for "off-road" use only and will not pass most state standards nor pass smog, that is the best of my understanding

Fujitsubo has a set of headers in development, im not sure when they will be released though. I assume if you remove all the cats you should be able to add a significant amount of power.

The Acura CL and TL type S benefitted a LOT from the Comptech headers (~25 fwhp), and it did NOT remove the cat.

He still has the cats. I know this because I helped him install the headers with a cat back exhaust at the same time. Those CL's are tuner cars for sure. There are people making over 400 hp at the wheels with them.
