Default It's not my fault I drive so fast

My old car's speedometer went up to something like 120 mph. The tick marks were every 5 mph with labels on every 10 ( 40, tick-for-45, 50, tick-for-55, 60, etc.)

Well my new IS's speedometer goes up to 160 mph and the ticks are labeled every 20 mph. I keep going 70 when I think I'm going 65 because in my mind's eye the tick after 60 is 65. I'm relearning a lot of things with this new car.

BTW - I know some of you guys go 120 mph so 70 may not be a big deal but around here, where the speed limit is 55 (and 50 in some cases) going 70 instead of 65 could make all the difference between getting pulled over or not.

My old car was the same way, it took me some time to get used to it.... But now, in your example, I'll still do 70 anyways....

Set the light ring on your speedometer to whatever speed you don't want to exceed.

I've got mine to light at 85, which is where you get in big(ger) trouble in CT.

85 in a 50 in the Merritt. That would be fun if it was legal.
