You did nice work, although red wouldn't have been my choice for this car. I'm probably going to go with a silver caliper paint kit...it'll match my car and I've always liked the silver calipers MB uses on their AMG sedans.

Looks good! Now you just need to buy some of those Lexus caliper decals to give them some umph and you'll be good to go.

looks like a stock IS with red calipers? sorry im not feelin it, maybe if u had bigger brakes, some decals, and some more red on the car it would compliment it more.

The front calipers are bigger than my friends Willood 4pot on his VW. The paint is from pepboys...nothing special. The rears are tiny so...meh! I'll get more photos after I zaino the car.
The 4 layers took about 5hrs.

They look pretty good.. the red might be too bright though. Btw, what are the torque specs for the lug nuts?

First picture I've seen of the car with the wheels off. Can some one please point out those "axle flange bolts" that you're supposed to re-torque at every oil change?

I agree. That's what cheeseballs do to their Honda Civics.

Hmm ...... So I guess I just didn't realize that 13" rotors and 4 pots were not a real braking system??? And to think I woulda dropped a grand for an upgrade to these specs in my last car.

Does the IS 250 RWD have solid calibers like that also? Can someone post pics of the IS 250 brake setup...

I had done mine in Blue since I have a Blue Onyx Pearl. Not an exact match until they get somewhat dirty.

The IS350 Brakes are borrowed from the GS300. The IS250 gets a different setup. I don't have a good shot on the web.
