Have you read the FAQ sticked at the top of the forum? It has oil change threads with pictures that should help you understand what needs to be done. Essentially you need to remove the filter housing with a cap wrench (through some people have been able to do it with a generic band wrench). Once off, just swap filter elements, change the O-rings, put it back and you should be good-to-go.

I was able to follow a DIY step by step oil change by searching this forum, very easy including pulling the element from the metal cap.

The question I could not find the answer to was resetting the light in the center of my gauge cluster, how do you do it? I was able to set and reset the warning in the navigation screen, to tell me when my oil change was due, but that cluster light has me stumped and fustratedand now i'm about to

Most of the time you can find that special filter wrench at the parts dept of a Toyota dealership. Just remember that wrench is shared with alot of Toyota vehicles. Look on the back of the package and it will show it works on all IS's.
