Hi All, I'm rebuilding a head for my Is300. The Cylinder head has been disassembled, valves are out and cleaned free of carbon. Some have minor pits on the underside( head surface area) as well as the underhead. I know most aspirated engines come with inconel, or stellite coated valves but I'm not sure what type are used on a 2jzGE cyl. head. Can the stock valves be grounded lightly to get rid of pits or is that going to make them weaker against the heat generated from boost?
