Electrical Mirror Syncing Problem
Hello folks!
I am having issues after issues with my recently purchased, one owner 06' IS350 which has ONLY 67K miles on it. This is my first Lexus, I owned Acuras and Hondas all my life and never imagined that a Lexus can be so unreliable.
Sad and frustrating!
I recently realized that my side mirrors are not adjusting to my set position once it tilts after reversing the car. Even if it does it doesn't go to the right position. However, this issue is not very consistent. Also, when I put the mirror adjusting switch to R (Right) the Reverse gear tilting function will works or else it won't tilt AT ALL for reverse gear tilting/adjusting.
Anybody with this similar issues? Is it the motor or some blown fuse? I never imagined a Toyota can break so much!
This is just annoying!
Thanks in advance for your contribution!

Wrong forum. 1st gens dont have reverse tilting function, so we wont be of much help.
I will say to check your owners manual. Mirror functions are usually very different from car to car as far as how to set and how to operate. If they are moving, its probably not the motor, its probably a programming issue.
