Put tape in the wheel well, if the tape rubs off your rubbing. You could always roll your fenders. Are you lowered? I had the same problem but i was running 225/45/18 fronts and 245/45/18 rears, switched to 215 all around and problem fixed.

if your rubbing you shouldn't be getting the "grinding" sound. You also shouldn't be rubbing on stock suspension with the size your running with now. When i think of "grinding" the first thing that popped in my head is your wheel bearing

yeah if its rubbing it shouldnt harm anything but your ears. Put some tape in the wheel well. You can always take a heat gun and push your plastics until they're clear. You can roll your fenders. 45 series instead of 50's. your best bet is to tape it and find your problem. Anyone else have input? Also try asking in the wheels forum. Im not an expert, just going off my personal experience.
