abs light is on and trac light is blinking on cluster

It means there is some kind of fault with your ABS system. Could be a wheel speed sensor, ABS pump, or anything ABS related. Go to a local garage and have the codes read on a scan tool. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe Auto Zone can only read your check engine light, and that is free. But that does not help you in this case. You can always stop at your local Auto Zone and see if they can read the ABS codes or not.

I don't know why folks don't just pull the code. The SC guys have to guess at everything that goes wrong, but the IS guys have ODBII, USE IT!!!! LOL..... it's great.
Anyone with a snap-on scanner can read detailed computer info. Even an old MT2500.

haha thats a great point O.L.T., and yes the snap-on scanners can do just about any make and model. I know there are a few exclusions like volvo and suzuki, maybe one or two more, but you can always go under the global OBII and read some codes. I have a snap-on modis scanner at work and it is one of the best scanners I have ever used.
