I was looking for something in my garage last night. I had my IS300 sitting at the garage door using the lights to see. The car was off, just using the lights. Then, my right headlight went out!?!?! Brand new bulbs, or a couple months old anyway. I found what I was looking for, so I got into my car, and tried to start it. Nothing but a clicking noise. The lights on the dash worked but the car didnt start. Alternater???? PLEASE HELP!!!!

how's the battery? check the battery first. it's been cold so now is the time of the year when your battery is good or bad. try to charge the battery or get it jumped started and start from there. If it just clicks and doesn't crank, might be the starter. try that out and see what happens.

your battery might be dead, get it tested after a full charge. if in doubt, change it out.
