Whats a good rim size?
HI! i'm new here. My question is what is a good staggered size for my 01 IS300? I'm thinking about getting 18 inch rims but i'm am not sure about what would be the best offset without changing anything or running into rubbing problems. I also want it to fit flush. I plan on dropping it about 1 inch in the future. This is the kind of thing i'm talking about....

Not trying to bash or anything like that, but you do mean flush to the fenders right . If thats the case you would need to roll the rears to get that fully flushed look.

That is a sweet *** ride but its a bit too wide for me. I'm looking to put 40 series tires on the rear if possible which is why i want 18 inch rims i was thinking 18x8.5 on the rear with 235-40-18. I live in NC where dirt roads are a must and i really dont want to hit a pot hole with my tires that close to the fender. I wish i could go with that setup but not sure i want to risk it.

Hello!
I want to purchase new rims, I am thinking about getting 18" (18x9.5 rear and 18x8.5 front) but I am not sure if 9.5 will fit??? I don't want my wheels 2 stick out 2 much
