Hi Lexus lovers
Happy new year ,
2 days ago my car just turned off in the middle of ridding home and never turned on
tow the car in Lexus dealer they told me I need to change "Inverter " for sure maybe also "Transmission"
they told me , they gonna charge more to open it and tell exactly how much .
car has 146000 miles fully loaded very clean .
car priced in best situation $10.000 ,
do you think I should sell it and not fix it .
battery is working awesome .
Do you know any good mechanic in OC to get second opinion?
where can I find used Inverter for the car .

Do you have any Experience with code P0A1B?
what is the cheapest way to fix the car ???
How can I realize if it's just converter/Inverter or also transmission need to change ,
if I can make sure if it's just converter/Inventer ,I can buy it from eBay for $500 and change it myself

if you can get $10k for over 140k miles i would sell it asap!

$10k is a really good return if you have rack up that many miles, it sound like a really expensive repair

Thank you for replying , This is what KBB shows for excellent condition of my car , it's a fully loaded one with radar cruise control and other options.

this is the price if the car didn't need any repair

I just bought my car last November, 2007 GS450h for 10k with 147k miles on the odometer and I thought that was a decent price. It also had rear left door hinge problem and was missing the Mark Levinson amp too. Clean body clean interior, driver side headlight aimed too high, passenger side headlight aimed too low. Traction battery 7 out of 8 bars. Front right strut leaking, other 3 almost worn out, and rear rotors worn.
