Hello

I have a dealer who has a RX 450h 2015. New one. Is this a good car to buy? I never had experience with Battery/Hybrid cars. Any disadvantages you could think of this car?
The new 2016 RS 350 is fantastic, but if I get a good deal, I will buy this.

MSRP is 59K. They are offering 5K off, What is the best deal that I could negotiate? It is a AWD

Have you driven both? There's plenty of things to consider besides the obvious exterior/interior differences. They do share one similarity. The '15 450h and the '16 350 are at 295 HP. The '16 450h bumped up to 308. I wouldn't worry about going hybrid. It's a blast to drive. I'm still loving mine after almost six years with nary an issue. Only disadvantage, the 450h might change your driving style. You're less likely to take off from stops and actually drive the speed limit or close to it, LOL! But fear not, the power is there if you want.

Regarding price, you're close to what others have gotten on their 350s. Unfortunately we don't have a large audience for the 450h to give you a better idea other than to say it's generally not as high. Since it's both month and year end, don't be afraid to ask for a little more off. The price sounds pretty good on a 450h. You're not going to get anywhere near that kind of a discount on '16 RXs. They're too new. Just please make sure you consider everything, not only price. Good luck.

There are many more benefits to owning a hybrid than just fuel economy. In fact, it'll take years to recoup the difference in cost with the RX. My wife and I bought our 450h because it's quieter and there is less maintenance involved.

^Very true. If you have to justify the higher upfront cost of the 450h, then go with the '16 RX350. It's not about recouping money through mileage. Going hybrid is much more than that. And you still save money when gas prices drop. They just become less desirable. We know that doesn't last long

For me it was also about getting a few more options than the 350 had to offer. Oh, and the super smooth acceleration. I've had a chance to drive the '16 RX350 which comes in eight speed now. It's smooth too but not like the 450h. You can't go wrong with either.

I just bought a new 2015 RX 450h, FW drive this past weekend. If you can get a loaded AWD for $53k that will be a good deal.
