2007 400h repair price estimate
Hi, I'm looking to buy a 2007 400h all wheel drive from a private owner, 80,000 miles and fully loaded. The car needs front brake job (pads and rotors), four tires, and windshield wiper inserts. The timing belt has not been replaced as it's not 90K miles yet. Other than these, the car is in good shape.
So my questions are: (1). How much would these repairs cost me? (2). What is a reasonable price range that I should go for? (I found the price estimate varies much btw Edmunds and KBB) (3). The car has four previous owners, should I worry about it?
Thank you guys for the help!

Pole Position
Go to an independent or a Toyota dealership and get an estimate.
timing belt around $700
Brakes and rotors $250
Tires $750
Wiper blades $20
Surprised the rotors would need replacement. maybe just the pads.....
I bought mine with 88k miles. Only issue was a front left wheel bearing, and a Inverter cooling pump....now have 150k miles.

I bought a 5 year old 2007 Rx400h FWD with 83K miles, new windshield, and new brake pads at a Jeep dealership in Az. At 113K miles, I had the timing belt, water pump, tensioners, and associated seals replaced. I bought the kit of genuine Toyota parts off eBay for $300 and my trusted indy mechanic installed it for $200. He only charges $60/hr and is just about the most honest mechanic I've ever met. I always leave him with a 20% tip because I think he's more valuable than he realizes. I was quoted at $1200 for parts and labor at the Lexus dealership and $750 at the Toyota dealership.
I'm returning to my mechanic to have him replace the cracked OEM radiator with a Denso replacement. It started weeping coolant at 100K miles, which seems common on this forum.

Thanks guys... I called a local shop (not dealer) and was quoted $59.35 for the parts price of an OEM timing belt. Does this sound right? I checked online and seems that the parts price for the timing best is normally over $100.
