best Front brake pads, 2007

What are the best front brake pads for a 2007 Fwd Lexus w/ 144,000 miles, third set?

Akebono is a good bet, Centric too. Personally I've moved to powerstop pads and have had great luck.

+1 for Powerstop, Im running their drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads. Strong fade free braking. You can't go wrong with Akebono either.

Me too. I bought our '07 with 30K miles and brand new OEM pads and rotors. I have no idea how you'd have to drive to wear them out by 30K miles. That set lasted until 115K. And I only replaced the pads. Rotors were barely worn. Now at 175K, still nowhere near worn out. I have never owned a vehicle, with an automatic transmission, that had brakes last like this.

Our previous vehicle was a POS GM minivan. That thing ate brakes and rotors every 15K.
