2010 450h with 77k, is it worth it?
I'm looking at picking up a RX and came accross a 2010 RX 450h with about 75,000 miles on it for $26k being that it's a hybrid and not a CPO vehicle would you stay away or is it a good buy at 26k?
I'm not even sure it would be worth pick up a extended warranty for it?
This will be my wife's car and she only puts on about 20 miles a day.
I like the 450h because it comes with all the bells and whistles, but it's hard to find one under $30k
Thanks

1st let me say mine's not for sale . But my 2010h is like new and even still smells somewhat new w/60k on him and needing nothing. He's kept in a garage, has had all his maintenance and driven only by me. BUT..... If he were for sale it would be a price point above $30,000 for sure.
They are wonderful cars (unless you find one all beat up) and should expect real good service and low cost of maintenance with excellent economy (compared to the non-hybrid 350) driven under the same conditions. See my mileage graph in the sticky above under the MPG thread.
If you find one for $26K and it checks out, buy it and flip it if you don't like it. Or keep it till 200K.

Depending on the dealer, you can ask them to CPO certify it. They will do the inspection test and if anything fails within 3 years, your covered. It cost me an extra $1500.

I'd say that's a fair price from a dealer, as I am trading my 2010 RX450h with 60k miles in this week for a 2015, and the trade price is close to what you are being quoted.
